It doesn't look that blue in person. It's how my phone picked it up. I said in the post it makes it look SUPER blue. The photo is not fair at all to the piece, I just posted it because I said I would.

In person it looks pretty close to the original pic.

@bubbaque
Thank you for the photo its actually better than i expected :D

@colorfan45
He did mention that the tank is not the blue as it appears in the photo.

Also, I never heard of or seen the jkr rainbow before and I was able to go in an instantly spot the piece in their display tank just off the original pic posted here. I then asked them if it was and they said yes.

You put enough blue and purple light and you can make a turd look great. Not saying this is a turd just saying every pic I have seen of this is just ho hum without all the light blasting. Just my opinion

I shop at top shelf and the blues could be because they run mainly blue lights. Everytime I try to take a picture of dry goods for reference to later always have the blue lights in them even with no tanks close to their dry goods wall.

Amazing guys
To be honest it looks little different but still very nice.
Any one would like to share his jkr photo?

I have 2 colonies and they both look the same in my tank. 8 x 80 watt t5, starting to get shaded, after getting my nitrates away from zero. Top down pictures but not macro.

Starting to get shades from Red Robin
