This was a torch I was given about 10 months ago, it arrived as 5 heads but had a brown jelly infection in transit and I lost all but 1 head. Thankfully it’s been growing out and has about 12 heads now but the tentacles are never smooth and have a unusual texture, with some bumps and slight kinks. Could this be caused by flow or perhaps excessive light ? It’s growing happily enough but I’m just curious what would cause this?

Also anyone now if this is a ‘named’ variety? Had a fellow Reefer think it was dragon soul, but I can never see the subtle differences myself between varieties and originally it was just green.

I can’t get the camera to do the colour justice to my eye it’s got a lighter tint to top side of the tentacles facing the light with underside darker to create a slight stripe. Photos under midday (everything on whites + blues etc) a filter over just blues and also under Orphek Blue Plus. Some videos to check flow.

Torches were always my achillies heel, so this guys giving me confidence and I just want to ensure it’s long term success. As my some lucky miracle I also have a baby torch pop up which could be from this one or just a really lucky hitchhiker (it’s a completely different colour for a start).

So does this all look correct and normal?
