Is this normal?

I've had this nem in my tank for about a week. The first picture is it in the morning when my lights first come on, and the second picture is it in the middle of the day. This is the 3rd day in a row with the same behavior. It's foot is in between the 2 rocks that it's squeezing down between.

Looks normal to me. If it did not like it there, it would move.
