I set up a first timer pico reef about 2-3 weeks ago in a Fluval 2.6g with an a80 kessil light and I’m already (and constantly) researching larger AIO tanks on BRS
Is this normal

I can totally understand the appeal of pico tanks but for a new reefer as a first tank is just not worth it. You’ll usually end up loving your tiny tank and wonder why you didn’t get a bigger tank to start with .

You’re so limited with smaller tanks. I can’t blame you for wanting to upgrade. 30g is kind of the minimum IMO for keeping a lot of things. Smaller can be done. But bigger is always better.

My wife and I upgraded sizes in only 3 months... it's normal!... or that is what we tell ourselves anyways.

We are still talking about upgrading again or even adding a third tank.
