is this stand level enough?

I'm setting up the stand for my IM 100g EXT. It came with the optional leveling frame but I'd prefer not to use it and have the whole display be a few inches taller if its not necessary. The stand is level horizontally but swapping the level front/back it's not perfect, I've attached a photo. Is this negligible to the point where the stand top(pad) will compress enough to account for this or is it worth putting the stand on the leveling frame with adjustable feet to try to adjust?

I'm putting the tank on the stand tomorrow so I'd have to decide today.

I would try and level it up a bit. Make sure you're also checking level corner to corner and in as many points as possible.

For what it's worth, the extra height of the leveling stand IMO is great. Makes it just a bit more convenient to view without having to hunch over too much.

Be prepared to shim the feet as well... They do not offer you as much movement as you'd expect.

The other consideration behind getting the stand as dead level as possible is that you may need to make micro adjustments. My approach for the INT-100 was:

1. Level the stand only
2. Level with the aquarium on the stand
3. Fill aquarium 1/4 - check level and adjust as necessary
4. Fill 1/2 - check level and adjust as necessary
5. Rinse/repeat for 3/4 and 100% full.

There were micro adjustments I had to make at each step.

Edit: Also make sure you're doing this all in the exact place the tank will be living. If you intend on moving it at all, you're wasting time and will have to make all of these adjustments in its final place anyway.

It's not great for everyone. I debated around using it too. And while I don't exactly regret using it, it makes maintenance so much more difficult than it needs to be for someone who is short. It looks nice, but it's not very functional for me.

That's totally fair. I'm 6' so it's the sweet spot for me, if it was a touch higher I wouldn't be able to get to all of the corners comfortable. I do still grab a step ladder to get into the overflow section.

Really for viewing I think the extra height is awesome, but for maintenance I can see it being a headache for some.

I’m 5’, so yeah, some tasks are hard with the feet. What makes it extremely hard is reaching over the eurobrace at that height. I need a stool just to remove my nori feeder. But, I like the viewing height, so worth the inconvenience.
