R2R had some issues with bots in the past which slowed the site down, so they had to improve their security measures.

Cloudflare is a service that makes sure you can't simply write a script that accesses the website and creates additional traffic the servers have to deal with. It's definitely annoying, especially when it pops up frequently, but without it the site might get a lot slower or even become unreachable for a while.

If you are using a VPN that can worsen the issue. I fortunately got lucky so far and don't get many requests at all. Less than once a day on average.

Other "oddities" you might have noticed (especially with the app) might be some bugs that need fixing. I'm sure they are working on it, but this stuff unfortunately takes time and I'm not sure how many web-devs R2R has available.

Herb Morrison. No idea why I remember his name, but have since I was a kid and watched that film reel with his recorded broadcast overlaid. I have never forgotten it. It wasn’t even live broadcast. It was recorded and put on the radio the next day.

For me it happens for just about anything. Since I posted I've had to verify 6 or 7 times. Maybe @EnterName is on to something about me that I didn't even know.
