I also love the hybrid Lemon Peel Angelfish. I just love it's sarcastic looking expressions. And I know my kids loves it's face. It has this heavy eyelid thing going on -- sorta like a "So..I don't care" look.

Awesome fish list! Which cam locks did you get for your saltwater station?

Thanks. It'll be a while still before fish are even introduced. But I'm enjoying the building and research process.

I got the Banjo 075E Polypropylene Cam & Groove Fitting, 3/4" off of Amazon.

I looked all over and finally settled on 3/4 ID x 1 OD x 50 ft Flexible PVC Clear Vinyl Tubing. It's BPA Free and Non Toxic. Amazon had it for 50' for $50. Which is a lot cheaper than Lowes or Home Depot. Down side is that it can kink, but it's not bad. It's durable, and most importantly, safe for drinking water.

Because this weekend is the first weekend after all nighting demo prep for the [HASHTAG]#NABShow[/HASHTAG] 2016 I took the family down to our local beach. A lot of beaches in south Orange County are real nice. Out here in Laguna we have a ton of tide pools. Thankful to be living out here.

Live rock!

Reducing the metric plumbing from Cadlights to U.S. 1" Schedule 80 plumbing and gate valve.

The pipe at the top is the original CADlights.

Major Union "F" up. Cemented without Union joint on. [emoji16]

My attempt at fixing this issue was cutting the pipe. Then using a miter saw I cut an elbow that came with the CADlights plumbing and tried to create a joint.

Oh I mean the black overflow/weir in tank.

Does it not make you a bit itchy with only 1 emergency overflow?

A bit. I should have requested one on order.

I was going to use the Apex to program a redundant off --- I think I can shut off the return pump if the water rises between the main return and the emergency drain. I'm wondering about siphoning.

Ahh right. I stopped the siphoning with a back flow valve, works well.

Yea I suppose a float valve in the return could also be a back stop.
