Hey all,
Just started a culture. On the first split one turned a darker reddish brown, almost like iced tea. The other is more yellow brown. What color should I be looking for? Anyone culturing it?

I have no experience with this myself just yet, so hopefully someone who does will answer. However, I can offer some links to pages that can give you some idea what color it should be:
(Figures 6 and 10 are the ones that may be particularly helpful from the last link.)
