My phone is not very good definitely not snail/ slug like. It looks like a beetle, I can see legs.it don't look snail like under the shell, so it's isopod, but if it's like slug/snail under that shell it's chiton (the second one is really good to have as a CUC, but the 1st one not all of them are good.

So I am safe to throw them into the tank?“Pill bugs” or “rolly pollies” are terrestrial isopods. That looks exactly like it! Very cool to have a marine species
