Issue with Apex WIFI

Hi, been fighting my Apex to get back on the network. Finally hardwired it since it wouldn't connect via the "BLUE LIGHT" network it broadcasts. I am now in the Apex.Local page, updated the software but can't seem to get it connected to the network. Here is what I see:

There is no button to see a list of Wi-fi networks, I can only input the SSID and password and when I do, nothing happens (after I press the Update Apex).

Any ideas?

Did you try typing it in? I don't recall a pull down or scan but I only use hardwired. Type it in and see what happens.

I do and then upload it, but it comes back the same

Were you trying to connect it to a 5ghz or 2.4ghz signal. When you had it in WiFi blue light mode.

If it’s hard wired, why are you trying to connect to a wifi network? Stay hard wired. Apex has 3 things working against its wifi ability.
1) water is the Antichrist for wifi. So the fact we want steadfast wifi in an area (sump) that is inherently terrible for wifi frequencies to work properly, is asking a lot.
2) the wifi cards they use aren’t remarkable
3) the Apex will trick your modem into thinking it’s an intruding device trying to access the network. Which causes the modem to drop the connection. Your apex then starts a power cycle to reconnect, and the cycle continues endlessly. Unless you manually enter the MAC address into the modem so it knows it’s safe.

Even plugging in a repeater that allows you to plug a 3 foot patch cable from the repeater into the apex works better than the wifi. This way, the repeater buffers out the apex so the modem acts as normal.

Ok, so right now it's hardwired, had trouble connecting even that way. I now see two different systems in my Apexfusion, my orignal and the rebooted Apex which is now running. How do I link them?

Not sure I understand what you mean here. You mean in the Apex list?

If you haven't done so I would recommend submitting a ticket with support.
