I've had this coral for months it's been doing great since the 1st day. I usually feed pellets twice a week. I put one pellet per mouth. Last night by accident I put 3-4 in one mouth. Today I see that the mouth has expended and I can see the rock in the middle. I'm guessing I overfed the coral and got it stressed. Any one had this issue? Will it recover?

I would stop feeding it for a bit, especially pellets. I've noticed food that can't be consumed causes this reaction. If the recession continues you can try an iodine based dip. For that coral I'd look into foods like oyster feast and reef roids personally.

Thank you.
