Several days ago, I got this message when I first start up the computer.

"Your connection was interrupted
A network change was detected.

ERR_NETWORK_CHANGED"

I thought it was the internet connection, as ours is always giving us issues, because in about 2 minutes, it started up normally. Yesterday, it would not reset itself, so I deleted chrome and reloaded it. It worked perfectly. Today when I turn on my computer, I get the same issue.

Any ideas?

I get that a bunch too. I always assumed it was my work connection. Usually reloading the page fixes it for me.

I went through the sequence and it came back before I finished. I didn't actually change any settings, but just looked around in the folder. I guess I'll find out tomorrow if it starts up. If it doesn't, I'll continue on with the sequence.

Thanks guys!

You can also try Firefox from Mozilla which apparently doesn't show this problem.

I have chrome very personalized, so I really wouldn't want to switch. I actually found something though, as I was going through the sequence, I noticed my Wifi connection looked like it kept trying to connect. I closed it completely and that's when the browser came up (I'm hardwired). I wonder if that had something to do with it.

Yup sounds like connection IP changes from the router

I probably changed a setting the other day as I was trying to take care of my 100% disk usage..... computers hate me. And yet guess what I'm back in school for..... I must hate myself.

Just begging for punishment!

Hey Lionfish,

Did you managed to find any permanent fix for this error? I often get this & somehow I manage to resolve it with the help of guides. But, that's not permanent. I don't want to use Firefox or Opera as they are dang slow. Firefox improved their speed but still far behind than Chrome.
