It was this big... Now its this big...

So dipping is so important. Found this guy on my new coral. Looks like a flatworm. Best pics I could get. Any ideas? Very quick moving little peice of jelly... this is using my phone camera completely zoomed in and a 10x macro clip on.

What do you dip in?

I think I need to be using something else. I do a double dose of coral rx and a quick freshwater dip.

Melafix pond and Bayer is what I use. So far, so good.

first looks like acoel flatworm. If so, harmless algae eaters, but can be annoying.

Second looks like red planaria flatworm or Vayssierea felis. If it actually has antenna/eyes, no harm as vasy are actually nudis that eat spirobid worms.

If planaria, burn with fire. QT corals and dip again every few days to see if any eggs hatch.

Yes definitely has eye stalks... ill keep an eye on things.

Google Vayssierea felis and compare. They will flatten out and look like a flatworm sometimes.
Based on my search I would say this matches with 97% certainty. Love the wealth of knowledge this group has. Thanks Steve.

If you find more that are alive, I want them. Too many dang spirobid worms in the frag tank sump lol. Looks like a white speckled box down there.
