Hello all! It’s great being back on Reef2Reef again after a long time and I will make sure to give updates as soon as I can.
Anyways, I recently got some new macroalgae from Addictive Reef Keeping and these snails popped out. I am pretty sure they are Planaxis sulcatus or a similar species in the family Planaxidae, which are microalgae grazing snails related to Cerith snails, but I just wanted to make sure before chucking them in my tank. They are about the size of a pinhead and do not have elongated shells (so I seriously doubt they are juvenile Cerith snails):

I'm not sure. If it were me, I'd sump them for a bit...
I am hesitant on sumping them because they are so small. Chances are that they would crawl up to my main display through my return pump, like my dove snails did. I also have no way of containing them down there (other than maybe sealing them in a bottle with a hole in it).
They are still in a plastic container with some mulm at the moment.
