Got what appear to be worms in my Coral QT. How do determine if these are harmful and is there anything I can do to prevent transferring these to my display tank? All corals in my QT went through a Bayer dip so if they came in on a coral they survived that dip.

If they are those tiny white Annelid Detritus worms they should not be a menace. They are detrivores, and will consume detritus. I would love to establish a colony of them in my FOWLR so i could keep a Mandarin fed.

The worms go in, the worms go out, they play penuckle on your shunt . There was one little worm he wasn't so shy he went in a ear and out an eye, IKD. Dip what's going out for sure.

They don’t look like any of the baddies I’ve read about so shouldn’t be any real concern.

They look like dorvilleidae to me. Do you ever see them swimming like this?

If so, they are harmless and my fish love to eat them.
