the adult looks psychodelic.. but still cool imoThe Chevron Tang is the story of the ugly duckling in reverse. Starts off as arguably one of the most stunning fish we could keep, but loses what it has going for it as it gets older. Give me an adult yellow eye any day.
I think the mimic looks great as it gets older. That was the reason I got oneThe two that come to mind for me are the mimic tang
and the Koran angel
I've heard they're better in person but I've only seen pics of adults and I personally don't care for them. Care to share a pic of yours, maybe you can change my mind. I almost bought one once until I saw the adult pic.I think the mimic looks great as it gets older. That was the reason I got one
I've never heard that. I thought they were a cool looking uniquely shaped fish as an adult. I used to care for a couple one was around 8" the other just over 2'.Panther grouper
I don’t think I’d ever seen a photo of one as an adult before, but now that I have I’m sorely tempted to put it on my future stocking list. I’ve never been a huge fan of the bright yellow on fish, but I actually really like that muted yellow of the adult.I think the mimic looks great as it gets older. That was the reason I got one
As adults the color is washed out… not attractive at all.I've never heard that. I thought they were a cool looking uniquely shaped fish as an adult. I used to care for a couple one was around 8" the other just over 2'.
I also prefer the adult (chocolate tang) colorsI think the mimic looks great as it gets older. That was the reason I got one
Mine is still in transition, otherwise I would. I do see an adult at my LFS that looks great.I've heard they're better in person but I've only seen pics of adults and I personally don't care for them.
