I'm on my second wp25 in about 6 months. The first one ran for about 4 months, I cleaned it up and runs for a little bit then stops. So I ordered another one a month ago, and it just stopped. Same thing. Cleaned again in white vinegar, seems spotless, will run for a few minutes then stop again. Anyone have this problem. Is there something I can do, or is this just what I get from not getting a vortex or tunze?

Thanks for any input

I had a problem with my wp40 a while back where it wouldn't start up after I shut it off for a bit. I fixed it by removing the white rubber "cap" in the front cover where the ceramic shaft goes. It does occasionally chatter but it has been running well since.

Thanks. I'm going to let it soak overnight, I've got one last one ordered to try one more time then im probably going to bight the bullet, and invest in a better wave maker. I'll try removing the rubber piece like you mentioned tomorrow if it doesn't work from soaking.

I had the same issue. For me the rear ceramic bushing locked onto the impeller shaft.
