Jack, I have to say that this is the most beautiful tank I have seen. The aquascape looks natural. The colors you have chosen and the placement of the corals is breathtaking. You, and your tank, are truly an inspiration!

I do have two questions. How did you build your stand? I am currently in the build phase and absolutely love the barn wood/rough sawn look. Do you have pics of how you built it? My wife loves it as well, and you know, if she isn't happy with it, I'll be redoing it!

Also, on your first tank with the black textured background with the blue "cutout", how did you do that? It made your tank look extremely natural and gave incredible "false" depth.

I appreciate your time and truly appreciate your pictures.

Hi Keith ,
Thanks for all the compliments...
The current tank was build 2017 on a wooden floor so we had to make some reinforcements for the tank.
It's a cement floor with chemical ankers in the wall that prevents that the tank will drop a few centimeters lower in the front.
That's about 8 years ago and tge tank is still nicely in place.
The stand is made of stone and the woodwork is made of old used wood that bricklayers walk on at a jiffy .
Hope i say this right , that's what google translate gave me :)
