If the shrimp isn't nibbling on the torch there should be no need to feed more. I gave up on LPS for now, the duncan didn't do well in my pico and after a couple of weeks of looking extremely happy it succumbed to BJD. The water parameters were fine... maybe it was just bad luck, maybe not enough flow.

If your torch has been doing poorly after adding the shrimp maybe it would be a good idea to rehome it. Otherwise, I have no idea. My corals have been quite happy even with the shrimps walking all over them but maybe the torch is more sensitive.
