For those of you who got a frag in the February live sale can you post pictures of your frags? Just wondering how they are growing and if they are holding the color.

If you got one and it's not from the live sale it doesn't matter I would still like to see it.

The top one was grown in lower light, per talking with Jason, we found out its colors will come out more in higher light than its current placement. The bottom picture, left hand side, was a piece at Jason's table and a frag swap a couple weeks back. The local fish store I donated my original frag to, cut theirs to have a piece that they are going to let grow out and not cut, which I am very happy about, because I think most people will be fragging them allot for awhile. I will post pictures as it grows out, as well as the one in my system.

Most of the one I've seen I noticed the pick has gone away which sucks.

When you say high light are we talking about 500par and above or?

From what I understand, yes. I think this one wants to be blasted. I think it will be tough to judge what it will become in time, because right now, everyone is cutting them as fast as they can grow. Once a couple og's get ahold of a piece, and let it do its thing for about a year, we will really get an idea of what it's capable of. I will say this. Everyone I have seen, has been intense in person.

Yea it's definitely a nice coral. If @jfox has a bigger colony other than the one he showed before releasing it I would love to see some pictures since he can obviously get the intense pink to show.

Got mine at the end of june. Lost all its pink in a month(last photo). Going on 2 months now, already put out a few branches and encrusted over the epoxy
I will say this, if it's anything like my Jerry Garcia, when I first got it, it lost all its pink as well, and it took awhile to gain them back.

I wish I understood why these are in such demand? Every single frag I have seen (even at some of the nicer Orlando area LFS) has been underwhelming. I'd be worried that it turns too green....

I can't tell you how many homewreckers and walt disney frags iv'e seen at frag swaps from reputable vendors that look like slightly fancier green slimers.

Maybe i'm just a sucker for the powder blue/fluorescent pink acros at the same price point.
