Time to move into a larger reef! Coming from a 40 breeder and moving up to a 211g planet aquariums PVC hybrid eurobraced aquarium. Ordered the aquarium through Bill at Custom Reef Creations. Bill took the time to offer great advice and help with the design of this very sweet aquarium. The dimensions of this tank are 48.5" long, 34.5" wide and 30" tall. The planet aquariums steel poweder coated stand is 38" tall and will get skinned.

Bill is also building a custom acrylic sump. The sump is not yet complete, i'll update this thread once it's done.

The plan for this tank is to be SPS dominated. The majority of SPS will be acropora and more than likley encrusting montiporas. For live stock I plan on adding a Blue Line angel and maybe a red sea Regal Angel. I'll be adding three more Bartlet's Anthias to my pair and maybe a pair of colorful wrasses. I will not be adding any clown fish to the new tank :(.

More to come.

Quite an investment you've got going! Should be a great build with your experience with the 40 breeder. Good luck!!

I've had a 120, 65, 60cube, 75, and a 125 before. The 60 cube and 120 were sps dominated. I'm stoked to have the room for larger fish and more space for acros to fill out.

Well sumps not here yet but I thought I would get a head start on cycling the new reef. 48 hours and po4 is doing great. I cured the pukani for almost a month with Lanthanium chloride treatments and 100% water changes.

We have sand! Talked with Bill at CRC and decided to use 80lbs of special grade live sand. Good enough for wrasses and heavy enough to withstand the flow I'm going to put through this reef.
