Hi everyone! I just want to share my first reef tank (very first Aquarium).

Started my build around Dec 2015 after I saw pictures of reef tanks in my Facebook feed. Same time that night I started reading how to's, then searched for forums where I found more in depth information which took couple hours a day reading about water parameters and basic necessary equipment to start one.

I end up with a cheap 40g acrylic tank from craigslist (perfect for my bookshelf in the living room) couple days later, a used HOB skimmer from LFS, jebao wp10, 100w heater, Fluval canister, and a china t5 fixture, but upgraded to Kessil A360we's last month.

Three months fast forward, this is what I have now,.. I'm aware that my tank is over-stocked, so I'm hoping to upgrade to a 90 or 125 tank very-very soon (already started looking for options). With built in overflow so I can use a sump, or a tank that have a back divider to hide my HOB's, heater, etc...

Here are tons of pictures,. Please enjoy, and I'm open with constructive criticism as well.

Thanks,
Jasper

Thanks. It's a canon 60D with 100mm (non L) macro lens. Most of the shots are in manual, but there are couple times I used Av when chasing fish around. LOL

I also used PS to edit some imperfections, correct white balance and boost color a bit.

Beautiful tank and pictures, your corals and fish seems to be really healthy. Welcome aboard!

Thanks, I'm glad to hear they look healthy. Because I couldn't tell, I just depend on what the test kits numbers tells me. Hehehe
