I’m into my 8th month on an sps dominant mixed reef.. I’ve gone through some of the common trials and tribulations. Passed through a cyano phase and now back to what appear to be diatoms and dinoflagellates starting. Getting a microscope next week to identify. Trying to keep the chemistry and nutrients in an optimal range. Corals seem to be recovering nicely from the cyano phase. Had to remove a little bubble algae, a few aptasia, and a couple of spionid worms. Nonetheless,,I’m pretty obsessed with the hobby and planning to upgrade from the Red Sea to an Infinia Reef 150.4
