Thanks! Is that a yellow Coris Wrasse? How’s it getting along with the tang
Yes, the tang follows him around like he’s his brother from a different mother.

Whoever I had seen recommending these under cabinet lights, spot on. They’re great

So I did a thing.. or two..
splurged a bit and added an inDaquatics AF4 so my fish don’t miss feedings while I’m working.. usually leave before lights on and get back after lights out.. will create a bit more consistency for them.. unit is louder than expected but that’s fine with me. Other upgrade I did. Probably the final to my lighting unless one day the Acro’s yearn for another Radion. I added 2 39” Ai Blades with 3D Reefing adjustable brackets. Went on like a dream. Starting them out at like 20% and will probably only run them around 50% power or less. Checked par at like 80% and the whole top level where the acros are got 450 par easy across the whole area. Was pushing almost 300 par at the sand bed but I don’t think those corals would appreciate that much light. Aiming for about an easy 350-380 at the top. Max of 200 at the base if I can..

Where are you getting your fish from?
I don’t know why I haven’t been getting notifications for your thread, maybe due to the shut down earlier this week. I have a great LFS and most of my fish are from there. I did go up to Cleveland with my oldest son a couple of weeks ago and picked up a medium size yellow tang, blue headed fairy wrasse and a blue cleaner wrasse. I’m picking up an angel tomorrow at my lfs. There’s a few I plan to get from Dr. Reef.

Hey Kev what is your go to lfs?
Locally it’s Extreme Tropical Pet, most of my corals and fish are from there. Closer to towards you, Corals. Com ( just picked up corals there a few weeks ago) and Tidal Gardens. Was up at RMS in Twinsburg and Blue Zoo in Mayfield Heights with my oldest son and picked up a nice sized Biota yellow tang, blue head fairy wrasse and a blue cleaner wrasse.

Latest project has been stabilizing PH dips at night.. I added a frag rack in my refugium section of my sump with a 12” AI blade I had laying around, threw some frags in there and I’m finally seeing the results of that. Usually my dip goes all the way to 8ph from like 8.3ish but has been a lot more gradual of a drop at night now as well as not going as low as usual. Considered dosing Kalk as well but considering the size reservoir I’d probably need I don’t think it would work out. But this seems to be doing the job! :)

Newest addition, picked up this Ruby red Dragonet from my LFS, was hiding for the first 2 days but has finally come out of it’s cave, was hesitant to buy him because I don’t want it to starve but I figured I’ve got tons of rock work, and I culture/harvest pods weekly. Hope he works out. In other news my calcium has been running a tad high, 490 sometimes even 500.. this morning tested at 475 but I’d like it to stay down near 450 more than less, considering a larger water change this week to maybe correct it a bit as I’ve switched to 10% to make it a bit more stable for the Acropora. Also added some urchins, Mexican turbos and more trochus as my Melanarus wrasse has an appetite for smaller astrea and nassarius it seems.

My daughter was the one who actually chose it, she thought it was very cute lol. Tried to get a shot with its dorsal fin extended but no luck. Ofc she threw it up a few times after the camera was away 😂

My first two were 16 months apart, the most expensive personal trainer’s you’ll ever have.
