What position are the mp10's in? I am going to start my cube soon and hope to position them in a way in which im getting enough vertical flow.

Thanks,

There is an mp10 on the left side and right side. Right side is higher up in the tank and left side is a little bit below the middle of the tank.

Do you think it would be tough to use more of the vertical space with aquascaping?

Use a wavemaker that you can point up. Place it about halfway- 3/4 way down. Mine is located behind the frogspawn on the left next to the overflow. You will only need one. I adjust it to about a 1" wave. Works very well.

Following this build! I have a 60g cube I started in September. I went with two Apex WAV units because I had a hard time getting the MP unit to stay on the 1/2” glass. Cube aquariums are beautiful but they have there struggles! I like your sump too

Here is my build if your interested:

@Heavymman I know what you mean with the MP10's. Luckily, I have 3/8" glass and they seem to be doing decent. I do notice when I am cleaning my glass I will accidentally bump them and they move a lot or pop off and that gets annoying lol...

I will definitely check out your build! I have been in love with cubes ever since I wanted to start one.

@Jaysushi if you already posted this I apologize but what type of drain / overflow system did you go with?

How do you like the 60g versa? I have been looking into this tank and the SCA 50g but seems like not a lot of people have these tanks. Im restricted to a 24x24 setup.

Any pros/cons/advice you can share?
