Thinking of picking up the Jebao DCP-3500 pump to use on a 40 breeder with 20 long sump. Does anyone have other recommendations or think this pump will work? I am having a hard time finding thee output size for the pump as I want to hard plumb. Any opinions or suggestions would be great!

I used 2 jebao pumps for my freshwater tank for 6 years before I broke it down and have started switching over to saltwater. The pumps worked great. They come with multiple sized rings for different pvc pipe sizes.

I have 5 jebaos running currently. I think the smallest is a 5000 it comes with at least 1- 3/4" and 1-1". My guess is you should have the same in the 3500. They work fine in salt or fresh have them running in both. I think after the 8000 they also include a 11/4" and 11/2"

Did you end up going with this pump? I am considering it in my trigger 26 sump back into my nuvo 20.

Thanks!

I never got the chance to actually set this tank up since I started medical school this summer. However, I did run it for a leak test and it worked great, would definitely recommend it. Plus, it’s hard to beat the price.
