I am trying to set up my Jebao DP-4. I have calibrated and ran the doser to get all the air out of the line. However, after couple hours I checked the tubing and it has air coming from the input and output of the head. I ran it again to get rid of the air bubbles and it occurred once more. I looked over the tubing and it's on the fittings pretty tight on. Are the doser heads broken?

Do you have the check valves in line? It could be the liquid slowly dripping out the end and being replaced with air. The heads have a one piece tube so it could only be coming from the connection or the end of the tube.

I have found the soft tubing works much better with those fittings than the firm (airline) tubing. I replaced all with the soft tubing after one end kept coming loose at the fitting.

Also did you get the kink out of the doser heads lines?

I will have to check when I get home to see if mine does this also

Not to highjack but how does everyone keep algae/mold whatever from growing inside the tubes my phyto line is almost black with stuff growing inside it I've changed it once already

Agreed. I, too, use the silicone tubing and don't have an issue with air bubbles.

Alright, so I hooked up the Deep Blue silicone tubing and the problem still occurs. I am guessing the doser heads have holes or something? Or should I switch my 1 and 2 heads with the 3 and 4 to see if those are good to go?

having the same problem... assuming the line are not supposed to be submerged in the water from what I've read. I'm wondering if air is getting in the line when it doses into the water?

I had this problem, I put a check valve at exit, just to keep it air tight. fixed my problem.
interesting, someone told me with peristaltic dosing pumps that check valves aren't needed... I'm somewhat new at this and am certainly still learning.
