For those wondering about the Jebao/Jecod DMP10/20/30/40 wavemakers, I can say for sure that they are a pretty solid unit, especially for the price. I know this because I was having some noise issues with the dry side after it accidentally hit the floor. I decided to see if I could fix it (still worked fine, just loud whirring) and these things are built like a tank, it was incredibly difficult to take apart even after all of the screws were removed. Plastics and the motor itself are solid and sustained a lot of abuse trying and prying to get the motor out of the housing, My motor was stuck in the housing so bad I nearly gave up on trying to remove it, I had to place the housing across two pieces of wood and hammer a screwdriver on the rear of the motor for a good few minutes before it finally came free. In the end, I broke it down as far as I could, re-seated the magnetic flywheel and lubed the bearings and she's as good as new. Just thought I'd post to the group as many seem to be curious about these wavemakers and I couldn't find any disassembly videos, drawings or guides online. Pretty simple design really, not much can go wrong, maybe one day I'll take apart the controller for further analysis.

Below picture is of a DMP10, but I imagine the other versions are largely the same with bigger motors and flywheels.

Can't post the image for some reason.
