If I were going to use this pump in a 90g system would I want to run 2 of these? or run one on a side of the tank then a regular powerhead on the other side?

I run two on my 125g (60x24x20) packed mixed reef and only run master at speed 6 and slave at speed 2 and have massive flow, so would think just one of them or two RW-8's.

Cheers, Todd

Yes, in the many years and many ways I have set up flow patterns IME / IMHO the 'Gyre' is the best all around and is how mine is set now.

Cheers, Todd

Two rw-8 would work perfect, just dont run them at 100%. The wp40 flow is a narrow compared to the new rw's.

Hello Mandrew, on my 90 I'm running a WP40 and a RW 15. The WP 40 is mounted on the right side of my tank and is set on else mode. The RW 15 is mounted on the left side and is set on the constant mode running at the number two speed. The RW 15 replaced Two Koralia 1400's I had mounted on the left side of the aquarium.

Dang... Those things sous better and better. I seen a video of a guy who replaces 6 korallias with 2 rw-15 and still had better flow. So I think I'll run 2 rw-15 and just run em on a low speed.
