Jellyfish tank - 3rd update... some issues

Hi everyone, I'm back home now so thought I'd do an update on my jellyfish tank

Sadly one died while I was away and I'm looking for a permanent solution to the high nitrates from such a small system

Sadly its one of the things the manufacturers doesn't address in these styles of aio. It really should be plumbed to a refugium, or at least a sump. The sump being my least preferred as you run the risk of over stripping the water column of dissolved organics and particulates. The refugium will naturally reduce the numbers for you but also will constantly add food too in the water in the form of pods and plant material and micro algaes. Without those the answer becomes constant water changes. You may want to consider going to a canister filter and plumb a small UV(on the export side) in line as well.
Although I dont believe the exess nutrients are actually a problem, its much more likely food availability and diversity.
Are you having any ammoina issues, or doing any other dosing?

No ammonia issues, the filtration seems to be keeping up with that, I've just got one jellyfish food but I've just purchased another two foods which I think will add a bit of variety

They are when things are going well :) They appear to be looking better this week :)

That's great to hear! I'm sure they will recover. Will they eventually out grow that tank or will they stop growing at a certain point?

take a look at the Aquaforest Probiotic salt and AF NP Pro and AF PRO Bio S ,those 3 combine do a amazing job at keeping N03/P04 down

I've seen one which was a foot wide!
Apparently they only live for 2 years, these are around 6 months and dont appear any bigger so it probably depends on environment :)
