Nice nem! I also found that I spent a lot of time thinking about background colors etc for my tank and then it really didn't become much of a focus later on...in fact it's all covered in coraline now lol.
I agree I think what you have is interesting but at the end of the day Caroline's going to win didn't really say Caroline but you get the point

Another peak at one of the stars of the tank, I am absolutely loving this Nem.

Just to let you know the coral reef is getting a bunch of clownfish from sea and reef tomorrow.

Now that looks like the start of something unique and interesting . . . I can envision that softly backlit with shimmering blue . . . .

So I gave painting one more shot and I am pretty happy with how it turned out. Not exactly what I wanted but this will do!

Now it's time for a stand and sump. I am going with a 20 x 20 x 20 cube for the sump instead of the 10 gal that came with the setup. Custom built stand by me and then we will really get this build rolling!

Well the harem is going to have to wait. I picked up some amazing fish from a friend, and lost all of them suddenly. I was away form the tank for nearly two days and have no idea what happened. They were in my frag tank and all the corals look fine as well. It's been a few weeks since I lost them and I made a bit of progress on the tank and have decided to go full Nem and some corals while I decide on what direction to take with the clowns.

It's Eheim filter media. It's cisterned glass with a ton of surface area. I am hoping it will work similarly to the Marinepure Bio-spheres at a much lower cost. Allowing for minimal live rock and hopefully fairly easy removal from the foot of anemones.

Some minor updates for this tank. Added a clown from another system Black Percula. And a few other corals but the big news was the sweet new electrical setup @james30ct hooked me up with. This new addition will make all my system easier to use!

Moved a yellow tale blue damsel into this tank from the frag tank. Aggression is certainly up a bit but no one seems too worse for the wear. Also added a red Led bulb to the sump. I have a few pieces of Cheato floating around, will need to figure out a way to contain it.

Also added another color variety of GSP. Hoping to have them spread on the whole slab and eventually cover the overflow.
