How are you guys bringing out that blaze orange in this coral? High dKH? Low dKH? High light or low light? What kelvin rating? Lots of blue supplementation?

I would assume like most corals blue supplementation would be key to bring out the colors. I think the rest of the things you mention deal more with health and/or growth speed.

The reason I mentioned Alkalinity is that in some of the SPS I have had (ex wild a.formosa) The higher my dKH was the deeper purple it would get...around 10-12 dKH...when at 7-8 dKH it seemed to lighten up a bit. It seemed as if Alk was playing some sort of roll in coloration. I notice the one(lite brite) that Victor shows on his site is screaming orange. Maybe it just takes time?

The outer rim is more greenish. Is your piece large enough for the inside oranges to form? Mine is a lil over an inch and im now getting a solid bullseye of orange in the center. I run t5's three ati blue out of 6 bulbs. daylight, actinic, and 14k also. par at 90. hth :)

Its greenish yellow around the perimeter and around the eye it gains more iridescent yellow around the eye which is orange. Def sound like we got the same coral!..LOL Im running 2x250 radiums with 12x3 watt royal blue LED's (reefbrite) for my supplementation.

Mine like alot of light. Higher light brings out more vivid orange coloration...
