Jisko's 29g Build Thread... Finally :D

I love the Duncan's. One of my favorite corals next to the torch coral I have. It's fun to watch the heads grow on the duncan though

my fav is my green rim rainbow platy from WWC under a nice light its amazing its a lil expensive but I love the colors of it :eek:

I'm the same way with my glue!! I don't mind how it looks honestly. Eventually it'll grow over or hid it when it gets bigger. Plus it is easy to move them if i meed too. I had to move my frogspawn and it was super easy. Here's a pic of a sps coral of mine with my glue job hahaha and just for reference this us where my frogspawn used to be.

Wow my wallet hurts looking at something that small and expensive. I don't trust myself with expensive corals yet [emoji28] I think my next batch of corals is comi g from wwc. They look so nice!! Plus they are a trusted company with many reefers

haha I'd love to have sps but man so expensive and I love acans and what not so its kind of a toss up... can't have both worlds in a tank my size :P



Sadly I epoxied both my hammer and frog... which sucks because im gonna have to move my hammer tomorrow as its only half way opened since I got it.. i think its to much flow for it

yeah I waited till the sale and got all my corals 50% off... me and my father ordered around $250 worth so we saved a lot of money... we just split the bill and he took his favs and i took mine and once they grow out we frag and share haha my next big purchase is prolly gonna be a reverse candy apple scoly or a rainbow hammer... but I'm waiting till I upgrade my light

Ever since I moved my frogspawn it has been so happy over by my hammer and torch. I got 2 sps corals and 2 acans a week ago for like 84 bucks which isn't bad considering 1 acan was free!!

yeah both of my acans were $30 each my duncan was $18 and the platy was 50% off so of course I had to get that :D

dumbest purchase I've made was I got a stripped candy cane for $45 -.- ugh I like supporting LFS and this one is reallllyyyyy nice but still little expensive for a candy cane -.-

That's great. I'm trying to get my brother into the reef world. Yesterday he actually switched his freshwater tank from a 39 to a 55 so a step in the right direction!!!! Only thing he needs to learn is patience

I always jump around between people selling corals on my reef page on Facebook and lfs. I've never shopped for corals at the same place either. One and done. I like to spread my business evenly to support local businesses but also to check out how the shops are maintained to the standards I keep my tank at

my favorite thing about both is they have coral only tanks. Caribbean has a lot of frags so you dont have to spend an arm n a leg for a higher end coral

Reef shoppe on the other hand has a lot of really nice large corals... some get in really high in price but you can also find really good deals... i got my reverse hammer with 3 heads for $22 from them last weekend

ooo a side note the left side next to the duncan.. thats a cave... i took a hammer and screw driver and beat the heck out of it till it looked the way i wanted.. that right side is actually 3 pieces of rock 0_o
