John guest vs sharkbite? Metal?

I need to replace a couple of fittings. John guest seems to be standard, but my local hw store carries sharkbite brand tubing push connect fittings. I see the glint of metal in there. Are the John guest metal free?

The holding part that touches the pipe is stainless, but no metal touches water on either kind.

So i was already enroute to the next place. They have jg brand. Same glint of metal. It is in the dry area if it works properly. Just helping confirm what ck00020 already posted.

Stainless is on the dry end holding the pipe
