Hi everyone,

Let me introduce my current reef tank a Deep Blue 60 rimless.

Equipment:

Deep Blue 60 rimless
29 Gallon sump

Red Sea Coral Pro reef salt
ALK - 9.5-10 Dkh
Cal - 425
Mag - 1250

Bubble Magus Curve 5 skimmer

Bubble Magus Dosing pumps
17ml of BRS 2 part daily

Little Giant 4-MDQX-SC return pump - with manifold running
2 - TLF small reactors running GAC and GFO
1 - TLF big reactor running Thrive Bio-Crush pellets

Ecotech MP40 - 50% Nutrient export mode - left wall
Ecotech MP10 - 50% Nutrient export mode - back wall

Ecotech Radion Pro - running 50% shallow reef graph

2/15/12
Tank was first setup as a seahose tank reef with 2 pairs of Ocean Rider Sunburst but food requirements and a change in my schedule for work made me move them to a better home. This was a reef with zoas and gorgs.

9/15/12
Seahorses were gone and first sps frags were taken into the reef.

Making the adjustment to sps was with some trial and error. Too much light too fast. I like the Radion but I think I will add some t5. I have a few reasons I think it would be helpful. The first is to add some Lumens and make the tank brighter the second is to fill in the shadows and reduce the pinpoint effect of LED lighting

I will post some pics of the tank through its short life.

I changed the veneers on the base because I rushed and the joints looked horrible. I also finished the bluestone sill. I'm very happy with how it looks.

Current fish list:

Timor wrasse
Tail spot blenny
Candy cane hogfish

I just ordered a juv. harlequin tusk and a small tail pencil wrasse. My plan is to move the Timor to my 300dd. the Tusk will go there as well in the future but he is only 1 3/8" so I will watch him grow in the cube for a little while.

Thanks!

I have access through a closet on the back side. I also have the luxury of a fish room in the basement. That's where the sump is.

Going to petco and grabbing a couple 40 breeders for a frag tank and upgrade my sump.
