So, after a couple of weeks of Chris waiting to hear back from engineers and insurance adjusters, we are very confident that we are not going to be able to have this month's meeting at the Critter, which is unfortunate. They are having to tear down walls, the roof, replace and AC unit, and all kinds of other things that, as of the last time I spoke with Chris, will have them closed for 10 to 14 days.
Having said that, there are exciting outcomes from all of this construction... the area that used to be the restaurant will be turned into expanded saltwater section. So when we do have the meeting there (not sure when that will be just yet...), it will be in a larger store, which is great for everyone.
Having said all of that, we are having the July meeting at Cici's Pizza at the corner of Nolensville Rd and Old Hickory Blvd Sunday, July 27th at 5PM. If you are a current member or join that night, your buffet will be paid for! Having said that, we really, really need a head count to be able to budget for this meeting, so please vote if you're coming.
We are working to see if we can get a demonstration together and will announce that a little later. I apologize this is such short notice on this meeting.
If you have any questions, please let us know!
