Hey everyone,
Thanks in advance for the help. I just bought a Mangrove for my JBJ65 Reef tank. If the roots grow into the filter sponge in your overflow do you think that would be a threat to the bacteria in the sponge?

If that’s what you wish to do I see no immediate issue . If it’s a black mangrove the roots may eventually over run your return chamber as it sprouts like crazy . If it’s a red you should be fine . You know you will need a lot of light over the red mangrove .

When to mix up fish meal: When was the last time you tried a different brand of food for your reef?
