Is that the head/mouth of the worm? If so I've seen a lot of sci-fi movies with things that look like that! Now I know where they get their inspiration from! Haha.
Not close. That's majano or ball maybe. I've watched the mother spit out the tiny well formed rockflowers . She catches the gametes, injests them. Incubated the gives live birth. The mother is 3 inches across. Look at the pic of the orange one earlier. Green is the same. Just green.
Look like one of these guys in pic
My coral supplier thinks it's a sea cucumber of some kind.OMG, I think the tail is scarier than the head!! Haha. I can deal with any type of terrestrial worm and I encourage them in my garden. The marine worms on the other hand are a hard "no" for me. Something that can grow longer than I am tall and can probably swallow me whole will never live with me!! LOL
This definitely looks like a sea cucumber of some kind - maybe a plump sea cucumber? (it's not a tiger tail, though)
Gulf Live Rock
When the mouth is open it really does. But those thorns? I'm an old guy and I haven't seen this. It did come from kp I'm sure. It's the only uncured rock in the tank.Looked more like a cucumber
That looks great. I'm in. Thanks. This definitely looks like a sea cucumber of some kind - maybe a plump sea cucumber? (it's not a tiger tail, though)
"Sea cucumber" doesn't make it less scary! Haha.My coral supplier thinks it's a sea cucumber of some kind.
I would have to put my tank outside if I saw that creeping around in it! I know there's supposed to be beauty in everything on this planet but some creatures sit at the very bottom of the scale!! Haha.here's the head with tenticles retracted.
I’m talking about this guy
The larger one is less than a 8th inch. Yes tiny one to the left is about 3 days. There's no green ones spotted yet from thin batch. They'll be easier to find in a few days.
