Hello all, just getting started in this really interesting hobby. We've had freshwater tanks for a little bit (Cichlids, etc), but I have wanted a saltwater tank for a long while. We recently found a great deal on a complete unused HelloReef 15 and should be setting it up later today. I've already started a thread on it in the Nano tank section of the site.

We have started a Hell Reef tank. It is a good kit to get you started. We have added an ATO and lid. Purchased a RO/DI 4 phase filter. The tank evaporates about 16 oz a day. The ATO works great. The lid will help flow evaporation. Other than that, the instructional videos are short and informative. Process straight forward. We are pleased. No CUC or fish yet. Maybe this weekend.
