UPDATE ON MY TANK A few pictures my tank has really done well. I have swapped over to a calcium reactor . And new leds radions gen5 xr30 blues.

Thanks, I did find a thread using an old HOB filter. It uses it to make an algae scrubber. I might give it a try until I get my sump online. ;);Cat Love all your corals. Your water looks so clear.

It's pretty simple I just found a ATS I liked and copied it best I could and you can buy lights on amazon really cheap. I wish I was more help. If you have any questions just let me know. Thanks

Thanks, I am trying to cut costs where I can. While husband is very tolerant of my finned and coral friends there is a limit.....If you ever get the time and inclination you should post a thread on how to make one. ;)

Ok like you said TIME is the key word LoL.. but they are really easy to build.

Or you could do a simple waterfall ATS just using pvc and screen no sides really simple and wo

Are you still wanting the information? Sorry I had not seen this until tonight. I am wanting to do another using a small media canister I have. It came with a pump. Around $60. Just added one to my sump that used to be an expensive chaeto reactor. Lol. Lots of ways to do it. The video I first used was by King of DIY, it was on YouTube. Had the words super charged in the wording also. Getting the suction cups attached was my biggest problem with that one.
