so I wake up 3 different days now to find my blue crab on the floor on the other side of my living room thankfully it wasn’t a fish or it definitely would have been dead by the time I got to it but as I’m finding out crabs can survive out of water at least for up to 6 hours or so

anyone else ever have issues like this with there aquatic life

Uhhhhh how is it getting out? Kind of weird if it keeps climbing out and trying to evacuate the water repeatedly.
 
I had one as part of my crew in my old sump. after I could not see it anymore I thought it was hiding in the caulurpa. when I took my sump out for replacement he was behind it next to the wall of my stand.
 
She’s about 5” from point to point it’s about 6 months old give or take we found it when it was only about the size of a dime ... I’m pretty sure it’s actually a female ... I’ve even got a lid on the tank ... I think she’s just a climber it’s fun watching her watch the fish she can’t catch
