Everything is popping out heads like crazy lately and no matter what I do , there always seems to be brown algae on the sand! But have gotten to the point where I just stir it up and ignore it bc of how fast these corals are growing!!

Decided to finally update my build thread bc i have done alot since i last updated!!! I installed the sump i made finally and its running very smoothly!!! In fact with the extra skimmer, and big refugium the tank is doing twenty times better!!!! Pics of that coming soon!! Buuuuut i made my own piece to hang my Kessil AP700 a little while ago and the other day i decided to break down my 4 bulb wave point light and use two of the reflectors and wire up two of the HO bulbs with two ATI blue plus bulbs that kick on at high noon for a few hours! Man ive seen a tremendous spike in growth in my corals since upgrading my lighting! Pics coming of the corals tomorrow!!!! Going to tighten up all the wiring tomorrow as well!!!

I mean, we see our tanks and corals every day, if not almost every hour and just always think iur corals are growing so slow but wow its on ly been a couple months and all my corals have doubled in size! Love it! Anyone whos reading my build youll see the before of all the corals i took ***** of before! Annd this is proudly a few months later

So im updating my build thread fto document a few things that have happened lately! My Octo 100 classic HOB skimmer broke where i screw the actual pump into the intake so i used a whole thing of superglue and to my luck and surprise it actually started to hold and skim again!! I just made my own DIY sump and thankfully bought a small octo bh50 skimmer that runs down there as well so luckily i have that just in case but good for now! I really need to save some money and get another skimmer or just one monster skimmer! I actually have been very impressed with the HOB octo skimmer! It has lasted two years and has skimmed so well i dont want to be without it now!! I also have a Tidal 110 that has really held up since day one but really need to get muh better filtration soon in the very near future!! Heres pics of my filtration! Thread oficially updated!

Id love to win the Tunze skimmer because my HOB octo skimmer is just barely hanging on, the bh 50 octo is way too small and cant keep up by itself and just need an overall better skimmer badly!!!!!

So I really wanted to change my aquascape to a minimalistic Japanese style where there are only 3,4 or 5 places that actually touch the bottom of the tank and the rest of my rock work epoxied off the glass! So I'm not finished yet bc I still have some more new rock to add and epoxy, plus a lot of little rocks still on the bottom to epoxy or put in the sump but overall I think it's looking how I want it to and when I'm actually finished its really going to look great and corals I think will be a lot happier too!! Build thread officially updated
