Hey team! I purchased a small (1.5-2) kole tang the other week at my local fish store. The fish is still small and I noticed was more yellow but I could see the yellow ring forming around it’s eye and the dotted pattern coming in. However once I got it home and it settled in I noticed it’s even more yellow than before. Has anyone ever had experience with juvenile kole tangs and what their coloration looks like? Let me know what you think from the picture.

Yes, a picture would help, somewhat. Koles are yellow as juveniles.

I believe all Ctenochaetus spp are yellow as juveniles, except tomini and chevron...unless I'm forgetting one. You may have to wait a bit to see.
