I’m going to be setting up kalk run off my DOS soon. I’m trying to decide where to have the output go to. My return chamber has an ATO sensor and the apex probes so I believe it’s a bad area. My reefmat has a nice big opening and turbulence inside. Is it a bad idea to have kalk output into the filter roller chamber? If so how are others dosing kalk and not fouling sensors/probes?

I know it's been more than a year but...were you able to get everything set up to dose the kalk in to your filter roller? If so, did it cause any issues? Excessive clogging of the filter mat?

I ran kalk in a filter roller for over a year and never had any issues.
Filter roller didn’t use up the roll faster? I’m also thinking about doing this so would like to know
