Yes, I think you miss understood what I write but it's ok :)

Didn't know people use an acronym for that product (all for reef... I just type it :p )

By natural ways, I meant with algae and macroalgae

My goal with calcium hydroxide was only the pH, since I use other supplements, like the red sea alkalinity powder and/or the carbo calcium from topic marin.

The only reason why I can't see my self using calcium hydroxide is because of the low concentration, it doesn't provide enough (need 2-3x the saturated water, and I'm still talking about pH) and #2 I just don't see my self adding powder in water every week, I have other stuff to do and cares and this would get in the way (I'm trying to cut times on some stuff since YouTube takes too much times, I have 5 aquariums)

My bottle of Kalkwasser last 2 day and is not enough
My bottle of Carbo Calcium of TM last like 2 months <--- more practical for me

Thx!

Again. You may just want to switch to high-pH two-part.

Speaking of it, what would be the best second (two) part after kalkwasser and/or brand that affects a lot the pH?

Alkalinity and pH are a bit linked but company have different ways to play with these, I've only used red sea alk and Carbo Calcium Tropic marin

The highest pH two part is a DIY that uses sodium hydroxide:

Hey how are u mate ?
I have kalkwasser reactor v2 avast marine I add to him 5 cm high the powder calcium hydroxide and when it added to my tank with ato system it's just up my ph and don't add to my tank calcium and alkalinity you know why ? Maybe I do something wrong ?

if it had any effect on pH, then it must be adding calcium and alkalinity.

Perhaps you just are not able to keep up with demand.

When to mix up fish meal: When was the last time you tried a different brand of food for your reef?
