OK, FIRST OFF thanks for all that have helped me understand the pros and cons of Kalk. I have got my Neptune dos pump in and have determined my need, which is about 4.5 oz of lime water per hour. (Thanks to randy calculators) my Kalk is a fully saturated mix that is dose form (not mixed in) a 2-gallon container (separate of my ato) so here are the questions and stats

1. I plan on starting the dosing well below 4.5oz an hour because dosing in my ato has driven my alk up to 11.3, so I have chosen 1 oz per hour or 720mls spread out over a 24hr period in an effort to lower alk a bit then when that runs out re-evaluate an adjust dosing amount once I hit my alk target 9.5-10 thoughts?

2. have I set this pump up correctly? I feel as if I have but I'm human and make mistakes
3. should I code this pump to be ph controlled by adding the following code to the pump
If 150-pH > 8.3 Then OFF
If 150-pH < 8.2 Then ON

thank you in advance for your input

Curious - how big is your tank - IN the end you'll be adding about 3.25 liters of Kalk per day (4.5 ounces/hour x 30 ml/ounce x 24) Right? So to start you're going to add about 1/3 to start right? I'm assuming that you'll still have your ATO going - with RODI, not Kalk?

1. my tank is a 185 gross volume setup,
2. right or yes 3.25 liters per day is the end game, THAT WILL CHANGE
3. yes to starting with 1/3 AGAIN that will change once I get my alk level down to where I want it.
4. yes my ato will remain running feeding only rodi.
