Also what brand of Kalkwasser do you use? Trying to find the best and cheapest way to go to save money .

Food grade calcium hydroxide or oxide will almost certainly be the least expensive option, assuming it is available in Germany.

Randy can I used Food Grade Mississippi lime? I can get a 50 pound bag shipped for about 100 dollars?
I believe that is the common bulk one used, if pharmaceutical grade isn't.

Yes. I used the anhydrous version of it for many years.

I'm not a fan of a slurry, and its only ever useful if you know that saturated limewater replacing all evaporated water is not meeting demand.

IMO, there are better options. A very high pH two part can raise alk and pH without using a slurry.
