I just wanted to give a quick review on the Kamoer FX-STP peristaltic dosing pump and if there are others using it that want to offer their opinions of it as well. I for one loved this pump!
For those that don’t know this is a heavy duty, with a high precision stepper Motor that provides continuous dosing, perfect for calcium reactors! I can’t speak for everyone but I was constantly having my line getting clogged and the flow continuously dropping causing PH fluctuations in my reactor. I had my line tapped into my return and even tried the continuous flow method but it would still clog up.
Here’s my PH before the pump was installed:
And here’s after:
So as you can see there was a noticeable difference! I’m not saying this is the best method only that it has worked for me and continues to provide a steady flow and relatively stable Ph for my reactor. I love this pump and would strongly recommend it to anyone having trouble with their calcium reactor.
