Kamoer fx stp pump maintenance question

Hello.
Can I lube the kamoer fx stp pump roller while it's running? Where do I put the lubricant right on the roller Wheels? I'm going to use the same lubricant that came with the pump.
Just a dab ok?

Also.. some people use a pre filter in the inlet because my water comes from the sump, sometimes it gets clogged with dirt .what kind of a pre-filter should I use? But then the filter can get clogged I don't know what is better using with filter or without filter!

Could you? Probably. Should you? Probably not. Seeing as how you are going to have to take the pump offline to install your in-line filter, just perform the proper maintenance of your pump. Shortcuts will only shorten the useable life of your equipment.

Now, as for the online filter. Yes, you should absolutely have one installed and plan on changing it about every three months. Possibly sooner, depending on how dirty your sump is. You'll want to use an fuel filter that DOES NOT contain metal. Here is a link to the ones I use on my Kamoer:

Have you been able to reuse any of these because I'm thinking if you can open it there is probably some kind of floss... Inside.

Kamoer FX STP comes with a special lubricant ..do I apply the lubricant just a dab or maybe 1 tsp ..over the spinning wheels or over the wheels and the right side curved piece...that presses against the tubing?

Nah, I toss them into the recycling bin. That juice isn't worth the squeeze.

I put on a glove, get a dallop on my finger, and go to town on the rollers and the inside of the latch.
