Kauderns Cardinal question

I bought this Kauderns Cardinal a week ago and noticed he looked different but couldn't put my finger on why. Yesterday I realized he is actually missing one of his dorsal fingers. Will it grow back? It looks like there is a stub of a fin there.

I don't know about the dorsal spine, but one of my was missing about half its tail and it is growing back. Just need to keep it happy and healthy.

Spines have a harder time growing back than rays. I wouldn't hold my breath, but you never know.
